Leo DaSilva Urges Nigerians to Record Video Wills After Alexx Ekubo’s Family Fallout

Reality star Leo DaSilva has warned Nigerians to document their final wishes clearly following a bitter family dispute after the death of Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo. Ekubo passed away in May 2026 after battling kidney cancer and was laid to rest in his hometown on June 18. Within days of the burial, reports surfaced of a rift between his biological mother’s relatives and the stepmother who raised him from childhood. Disagreements centred on who could view his body and inherit his estate. In a social media post, DaSilva stressed that blood ties do not guarantee loyalty. He recommended that people create video wills outlining their final wishes to prevent confusion and conflict after their death. Earlier, in February 2025, DaSilva revealed he was already preparing his children for his eventual passing.
