Why the Universe Holds Together: Christ, the Sustainer of All Things

Physics can describe the forces and relationships that shape our universe with precision. It maps gravity, electromagnetism, and nuclear forces in elegant equations. Yet it cannot explain why these forces exist or why the constants of nature allow complexity and life. Scientists call this fine-tuning. Tiny changes in those constants would destroy any chance for structure or life. Such precise calibration points beyond the physical world. The apostle Paul offers a simple answer: “By him all things consist.” The stability and coherence of reality rest on the sustaining power of Christ. He is the ground of existence and the reason there is something rather than nothing.

Physics certainly maps gravitational and nuclear interactions elegantly, yet this post invites us to consider a spiritual layer beyond what equations can capture.

I get the appeal, but doesn't attributing every constant to Christ undermine our search for natural explanations that physics still seeks?
