Godly Parenting: Raising Children with Faith, Character and Purpose
Godly parenting goes beyond providing for children’s material needs. It means guiding them to know God, develop good character and prepare for the future. Proverbs 22:6 and Deuteronomy 6:6–7 remind parents to teach by both their words and the example they set at home. Parents can nurture their children’s faith by teaching Scripture, praying with them, listening to their concerns and correcting them with love and wisdom. They can also help children recognise harmful influences and become responsible adults. Children do not grow into godly people automatically. They need consistent attention, encouragement and guidance. I pray for the wisdom and patience to raise children who honour God and positively influence their generation.
