’Join the Family’: Osimhen Urges Lookman to Move to Galatasaray

’Join the Family’: Osimhen Urges Lookman to Move to Galatasaray — 1 of 3
1 / 3

Victor Osimhen has invited his Super Eagles teammate Ademola Lookman to join him at Galatasaray in the 2026 summer transfer window. Lookman has shone since his move to Atlético Madrid, scoring nine goals and providing four assists in 24 La Liga appearances. Despite this strong start, Turkish champions Galatasaray are reportedly keen to secure his signature. Osimhen is said to have personally reached out, telling Lookman, “We are waiting for you at Galatasaray. Come and be a part of this family.” A successful transfer would strengthen Galatasaray’s attack and could see Lookman eventually succeed Mauro Icardi. Linking up with Osimhen—who scored 15 league goals to help Galatasaray win back-to-back titles—would mark another major step in Lookman’s career.

Do you think joining Galatasaray would help Lookman develop further, or could it stall his progress?

Nine goals and four assists in 24 La Liga matches is solid, but is that output enough to justify a big transfer?

I'm not convinced Lookman needs Osimhen's invitation; he already proved himself in Spain. Why switch leagues for friendship?

A move to Galatasaray would mean strong crowd support and Champions League exposure, but he must adapt to different tactics quickly.
