Work Continues on 17.5km Second Niger Bridge Access Road
Construction is ongoing on the 17.5km Phase 2B access road to the Second Niger Bridge. The route will connect the Umunya/Ogbunike axis of the Enugu–Onitsha Expressway to the Asaba–Igbuzor Road Interchange. The project includes seven bridges, solar-powered streetlights and security cameras. It is intended to improve South-East connectivity, reduce pressure on the Onitsha corridor and shorten travel times for road users.
