Paris FC Coach Demands More from Moses Simon

Paris FC Coach Demands More from Moses Simon — 1 of 2
1 / 2

Paris FC manager Antoine Kombouaré has told Moses Simon he expects higher standards from the winger. The Nigeria international has now gone 12 league games without a goal or assist. Kombouaré met with Simon before their clash with Le Havre to discuss his form. The coach praised Simon’s confidence and fitness but made it clear he must start delivering on the pitch. “You play first for yourself and your family,” Kombouaré said in a recent interview with a local newspaper. Simon has three goals and two assists in 23 league appearances this season. The manager says he needs to be more effective in creating and scoring goals.

I doubt one chat with Kombouaré will suddenly revive his pace. He needs consistent work, abi?

Going twelve games without a goal or assist really raises questions about Simon's role in Paris FC's attack.

Demanding more seems fair, but maybe Kombouaré should strengthen the midfield balance before piling pressure on Simon.

Simon could benefit from extra finishing drills and more confidence-building sessions to break this long goal drought.
