“I’m 46, Not 35!” Bala Gombe Fires Back at Kwankwaso, Urges Old Guard to Make Way for Youths

In a sharp rebuttal to Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s age claims, Nafiu Bala Gombe insists he is 46 and not 35. He accuses the former Kano governor of meddling in ADC affairs and acting like an “APC mole.” Bala Gombe reminds Kwankwaso that many current leaders were young when they assumed office. He argues that older politicians should now play advisory roles and let the younger generation steer party and national leadership. He recalls how northern leaders once urged Kwankwaso to step down for Arewa votes in 2023 and says Kwankwaso has no moral ground to lecture him. Bala Gombe challenges him to join the ADC through proper channels and warns that he won’t tolerate bullying.

I'm not convinced sidelining the old guard guarantees better leadership; sometimes experience trumps youthful enthusiasm.
