Maduka University held its third matriculation ceremony at the international stadium, welcoming 967 new students. The event attracted dignitaries, academics and stakeholders from the South-East and beyond. Chancellor Samuel Maduka Onyishi described the university’s journey as a marathon, not a sprint. He stressed the need for quality learning environments and state-of-the-art facilities over mere growth in numbers. In his lecture, Vice-Chancellor Samuel Chijioke Ugwu called education a key driver of sustainable development. He urged curriculum reforms that promote innovation, critical thinking and real-world solutions under the institution’s “new thinking” philosophy.
