BBNaija’s Cross Okonkwo Fires Back at Daddy Freeze Over Alexx Ekubo Memorial Comments

BBNaija’s Cross Okonkwo Fires Back at Daddy Freeze Over Alexx Ekubo Memorial Comments — 1 of 2
1 / 2

Former Big Brother Naija star Cross Okonkwo has slammed media personality Daddy Freeze for his remarks about the service of songs held in honour of late actor Alexx Ekubo. Cross took to social media to tell Daddy Freeze to “keep your mouth shut” and urged him to stop speaking on matters of faith if he doesn’t understand the Christian service. The BBNaija alum defended the gospel ministers who performed at the event. Daddy Freeze had earlier blamed parts of the programme for feeling more like a concert and said he left before it ended. Both posts have sparked heated debate online.

It seems like Cross Okonkwo only responded to save face, not because Daddy Freeze's opinion really matters in this context.

Are we overlooking the fact that public figures should expect critique, especially when addressing a funeral tribute for a beloved actor?
