Musa’s Late Winner Sparks Pillars Comeback as Rangers Topple Enyimba

Ahmed Musa struck deep in stoppage time to seal a dramatic 2-1 comeback for Kano Pillars against Rivers United at Sani Abacha Stadium. Rivers had led through Abdullahi Musa’s 81st-minute goal before Pillars rallied with strikes from Handsome Surveyor and Musa. In Enugu, Rangers reclaimed the NPFL summit by edging Enyimba 2-1. Wonah Williams broke the deadlock early in the second half, but Chidozie Iwundu and Ifeanyi Onyebuchi hit back to keep Rangers in pole position. Elsewhere, Remo Stars boosted their survival bid with a 3-0 win over Niger Tornadoes. Victor Mbaoma, Olamilekan Adedayo and Samuel Anakwe found the net. Nasarawa United swept aside Warri Wolves by the same scoreline, while Kwara United and Shooting Stars claimed narrow victories at home. Wikki Tourists also secured an away win over Bendel Insurance. I'm not convinced a single moment defines this game's quality—both teams had chances long before stoppage time.

Kano Pillars should work on maintaining intensity into stoppage time to avoid all-out scrambles.
