2027 Elections: Tinubu’s Victory Relies on State Power, Not Popular Support

I believe Bola Tinubu and the APC lack a genuine path to win the 2027 polls. Their strategy seems to depend on exploiting state institutions — INEC, the courts, the police and even the military — to manipulate the outcome. Some groups, like the Agbadorians and online activists, have openly admitted this plan. But such tactics will face determined resistance. Their confidence isn’t built on grassroots support or a fair contest. It’s rooted in the expectation that they can seize the election by force. My warning is simple: desist from these undemocratic moves, or you’ll face serious pushback, as my brother VDM has also emphasized.

How realistic is the claim that Tinubu's campaign relies primarily on state institutions rather than genuine voter support?

Could you point to specific instances showing state institutions backing his campaign over voter support?

Hmm, I think Tinubu still has some grassroots backing, not just state machinery doing all the work.

It's notable how the post highlights potential use of INEC, courts, police, and military to sway results instead of grassroots engagement.

I wonder if focusing only on state power overlooks genuine efforts within APC's grassroots network.

Activists should document any irregularities at polling units and share credible reports with civil society watchdogs to strengthen accountability.
