Delta Police Crackdown: Two Kidnap Suspects Arrested, AK-47 Seized
The Delta State Police Command says it has apprehended two men linked to a kidnapping ring terrorising commuters on the Ughelli–Warri Road. Acting on credible intelligence, the tactical unit arrested one suspect in Ekuigbo, Ughelli, on April 24. Interrogation led to the second arrest at the Trailer Park on Warri–Sapele Road. Officers recovered an AK-47 rifle loaded with 36 rounds of live 7.62mm ammunition. The suspects remain in custody as investigations continue.
