Yul Edochie Reflects on Marriage to May, Urges Men to ‘Set Boundaries’
Yul Edochie appeared on the Honest Bunch Podcast and recalled marrying May at just 22. He shared that they met while writing their GCE exams, and he emphasised that “as a man, you mustn’t be a fool for a woman—you have to set boundaries.” The actor’s first marriage ended after his relationship with colleague Judy Austin came to light. May filed for divorce, secured full custody of their three children, obtained a restraining order and demanded ₦100 million from Judy. Yul and Judy have since started a family of their own with three sons. May’s lawyer has alleged that Yul hasn’t paid child support or school fees, and their daughter, Danielle, publicly removed her father’s name from her social media profile in solidarity with her mother.
