Bukky Wright: My In-Laws Took My Kids After I Married Into a Wealthy Family

Nollywood veteran Bukky Wright opened up at a recent panel about losing custody of her children when she married into a wealthy family. She revealed her in-laws doubted her potential, so she took up acting to ensure her kids could find her when they grew up. The introverted star, now on her fifth chance at love, has been married four times. Her 2014 union with Adewale Onitiri ended amid long-distance strains. She was previously wed to Gboyega Amu, Femi Davies and Bolaji Basia. Bukky also shared her battle with depression and praised her children for helping her through dark times. Two years ago she made a celebrated return to the screen and recently earned a Best Supporting Actress nomination.
