Tuchel Voices Concern Over Madueke’s Knee Injury

Tuchel Voices Concern Over Madueke’s Knee Injury

England boss Thomas Tuchel admitted he is worried Noni Madueke may have suffered a serious knee injury. The Arsenal winger left Wembley wearing a brace on his left leg after a heavy challenge by Uruguay’s Rodrigo Aguirre. Tuchel said he hopes the damage is not too severe, but the early signs did not look good. Madueke was forced off before half-time, leaving Arsenal and the England camp anxious about his fitness. The coach also lamented that VAR did not review the incident. Prior to the tackle, Tuchel praised Madueke’s energy and performance as he bids for a spot in England’s World Cup squad.

What do you think the England medical team should do first to assess Madueke's knee injury severity?

I wonder, should they perform an MRI first or focus on a detailed physical exam to gauge his knee condition?

I'd think they shouldn't rush to MRI immediately; a thorough clinical exam and swelling assessment makes more sense first.

Wearing a brace at Wembley looks worrying, but initial scans often paint a grimmer picture than reality for knee knocks.

They should prioritize a detailed scan and a rehab plan before any return to full training.
