Delta South’s Austin Orette Blasts NDC Chiefs, Tells Peter Obi to Leave ‘Burning House’
Dr. Austin Orette, the Delta South NDC senatorial candidate, has accused his party’s national leadership of corruption and warned Peter Obi to seek political refuge elsewhere. He described the NDC as a “setup of crooked politicians” and urged Obi to leave before it was too late. Orette condemned the delay in releasing primary results, calling it a conspiracy that undermines democracy. He vowed to take legal action, accusing party officials of breaching the Electoral Act and trampling on the will of the people. He warned that tolerating such behaviour fuels insecurity and poverty across Nigeria. The candidate argued that any concession to corrupt leaders is a surrender to “perpetual slavery and tyranny.”
