Nigeria’s Gift Orban Joins Newly Promoted Amedspor on Season-Long Loan
Striker Gift Orban is set to join newly promoted Turkish Süper Lig club Amedspor on a season-long loan for the 2025/26 campaign, according to Completesports.com. The arrangement with Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim includes an option for Amedspor to make the move permanent. Orban is due in Turkey this Saturday to finalise his contract and undergo a medical. The club will cover his full salary throughout the loan period. The 24-year-old spent last season on loan at Hellas Verona, scoring seven goals and providing two assists in 28 Serie A appearances. He has also featured in Norway, Belgium, and France as he continues his European journey. Amedspor celebrate their first-ever promotion to the Turkish Süper Lig and will host matches at the 33,000-capacity Diyarbakır Stadium.
