Claims That Peter Obi Benefited from the Abacha Regime Are Laughable

I find the claim that Peter Obi profited under former dictator Sani Abacha simply laughable. In a country where voters elected two former military rulers—Obasanjo and Buhari—questions about past associations should apply equally. True, many politicos had similar cases back then. Obi shouldn't be the only one under spotlight for this.

Most politicians in Nigeria have complex histories, so it seems odd to focus accusations only on Obi while ignoring others.

I'm not convinced those comparisons hold water; being on a board doesn't automatically equal benefiting from a military ruler.

Instead of debating past associations endlessly, we should focus on policy plans and how each candidate proposes real solutions for our current challenges.
