VDM in Jos: It’s Our Fear, Not Insecurity
After VeryDarkMan’s visit to Jos, we saw how quickly fear spreads. One person spoke and thousands accepted a narrative without checking facts. Yet he moved freely around the city and returned home unharmed. What real proof of total collapse does that leave? Feeding on hype tells people they must fend for themselves at all costs. That breeds rumours, sparks division and violence, and hits ordinary Nigerians hardest. We must stop treating fear as activism. Separate facts from emotions. Think before you believe, share or react—before the cycle destroys us from within.
