DLA 2027 Presidential Hopeful Resigns, Demands Refund Over Unfair Primary

DLA 2027 Presidential Hopeful Resigns, Demands Refund Over Unfair Primary

A 2027 Democratic Leadership Alliance presidential aspirant has formally quit the party over its decision to impose a consensus candidate. In her resignation letter to the party’s National Chairman, she said the DLA failed to stage a free and fair primary and violated its own rules. She has asked for written confirmation of her resignation, a refund of her nomination fee and the return of any personal documents held by the party. Despite her exit, she remains committed to the presidential race and the “Dare Nigeria” agenda. She thanked party members for their support and said she will pursue her vision on a platform that upholds democratic principles. This development was reported by the News Agency of Nigeria.
