I’m a university student and have been dating my girlfriend for over a year. We’re in different departments but the same school. This semester, most of my group assignments and presentations include female classmates. We chat in a WhatsApp group and often stay after lectures to work together. My girlfriend now wants me to avoid talking to any female coursemate unless it’s absolutely necessary. She even suggested I should only partner with male students when possible. But refusing groups could hurt my grades and make me seem unprofessional. We’ve argued several times and it’s affecting our relationship. Am I being unreasonable or is she too insecure?
