It draws us away from holiness and the pure love of Christ. As citizens of Heaven, we must reject worldly influences. Our time on earth is a test that determines our eternal home. Secular music genres such as hip-hop, rap, R&B, reggae, rock, heavy metal, and fuji reflect worldly values. Christians should choose worship and gospel music, for example from artists like Nathaniel Bassey and Dunsin Oyekan, to guard their hearts.
