Radio Lagos and Eko FM Sweep Six Honors at Nigeria Broadcasting Awards
Radio Lagos and Eko FM led the field at the recent Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria awards, securing six prizes across key categories. They stood out from 248 entries, winning Radio Station of the Year and top awards for news in both English and indigenous languages. The stations also picked up accolades for original productions in business, drama and sports. Gbenga Alli-Balogun was named Newscaster of the Year, while Titi Adeaga earned Reporter of the Year. General Manager Jide Lawal thanked the organisers and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for their support. He dedicated the awards to the stations’ staff and loyal listeners and vowed to uphold high broadcasting standards.
