Mama BOVAS Founder Victoria Samson Named UNIOSUN Chancellor

The Osun State Government has approved Mrs Victoria Adunola Samson as the new Chancellor of Osun State University. She succeeds Apostle Folorunso Alakija after a decade of service. Mrs Samson built BOVAS Oil and Gas into one of Nigeria’s top indigenous petroleum firms, growing from a single station to over 200 outlets and employing more than 2,000 people. She made history as the first Nigerian to win Texaco’s Best Overall Dealer award in Latin America and West Africa. A native of Iree in Boripe LGA, Mrs Samson holds a Professional Diploma in Marketing and has attended leadership programmes at Harvard Business School and IESE in Barcelona. Governor Adeleke praised her integrity, accountability and commitment to academic excellence. University management, staff and students congratulate her and look forward to her contributions to UNIOSUN’s growth and global relevance.
