Ondo Police Command Cracks Down on Concealed and Unregistered Number Plates
The Ondo Commissioner of Police, CP Felix Ohagwu, has launched an enforcement drive targeting vehicles with concealed, defaced, altered or obscured registration plates, as well as unregistered vehicles plying roads across the state. This action follows orders from the Inspector-General of Police, aimed at strengthening public safety, enhancing crime prevention and improving the tracking of vehicles linked to criminal activity. Offenders found driving without approved number plates or with tampered registration details will face impoundment and legal sanctions. Motorists are urged to ensure their plates are clearly displayed and to cooperate fully with police officers during this operation.
