The complainant, Rachael Ekundayo, says she was intoxicated and incapable of consent when the incident occurred. Rachael claims she is being pressured to drop the case due to jurisdiction challenges, since the accused reside outside the UK. She has appealed to Transcorp’s chairman, Tony Elumelu, to launch an internal inquiry and clarify the circumstances. Nigerians on social media have urged her to pursue justice in UK courts, warning that local options may fall short. Transcorp Nigeria has not yet responded to the allegations.
