Nana Akua Addo Claps Back at ALme Couture Over Cathedral Dress Design Dispute
Ghanaian actress Nana Akua Addo has shared her side of the story after ALme Couture accused her of taking their cathedral dress design to another brand. According to the fashion house, Nana presented their sketch but later refused to continue with them. They allege she then walked into a Nigerian studio with the same concept. In her response, the actress published screenshots of her chats with ALme Couture, insisting the original idea and creative direction were hers. She explained that ALme Couture declined to execute her detailed vision, refunded her, and she found another designer willing to bring the concept to life. Nana thanked the Nigerian label for taking the “risk” to create the gown.
