Osimhen’s Brilliance Drives Galatasaray to Top Turkish Club in Europe
Galatasaray topped all Turkish sides in European earnings this season after reaching the Champions League Round of 16. Their continental run generated €53.53 million in total revenue. Victor Osimhen was the key to that success. He scored seven goals and provided one assist, guiding the Super Eagles forward’s team through the group stage and into the knockout rounds. The club earned €18.62 million for participation, €7 million for group-stage performance and €11 million for reaching the Round of 16. Broadcasting fees, domestic ranking payments and UEFA coefficient bonuses further boosted their haul. Other Turkish clubs also profited. Fenerbahçe collected €19.47 million, Samsunspor €7.89 million, while Beşiktaş and İstanbul Başakşehir each earned €1.275 million. In total, Turkey’s representatives amassed €83.44 million this season.
