Understanding Christ’s Supremacy: A Reflection on Colossians 1:15-23

This passage highlights Jesus as the visible image of the invisible God, preeminent over all creation. Through him, everything in heaven and on earth was made and sustained. As head of the church and firstborn from the dead, he holds supreme authority. God’s fullness dwelled in him, and by his sacrifice he reconciled all things to himself, bringing peace through his blood. Once alienated by our wrongdoing, we are now presented holy and blameless if we remain steadfast in faith. This timeless gospel continues to call every believer to hope and firm commitment in Christ.
