Amotekun Denies Bandit Invasion, Launches 24-Hour Patrols Across Ondo
The Ondo State Security Network Agency has dismissed recent reports of a bandit incursion as false and urged residents not to spread unverified rumours. The agency’s spokesperson reassured the public that no part of the state is under threat and encouraged everyone to carry on with daily activities calmly. To bolster security, the Corps Commander has ordered round-the-clock patrols in all 18 local government areas. Special emphasis will be placed on schools, churches, critical national assets and other strategic spots to deter criminal activity. Citizens are reminded to stay vigilant and report any suspicious movements to the appropriate authorities. Amotekun reaffirms its commitment to ensuring a safe environment for all residents and visitors in Ondo State.
