Kefas: If Voters Reject Me, I'll Return to Teaching or Consultancy
Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas says his political future rests with the people, not his own ambition. He spoke to journalists in Lagos about speculation over his reelection plans. He stressed that public feedback will shape any decision on a second term. He believes leaders must remain accountable and let citizens’ views guide their actions. Kefas strongly condemned political violence. He urged that elections be peaceful and warned against putting ambition above human lives. He added that if voters decide against him, he’s ready to go back to teaching or work as a consultant. He said public service goes beyond holding office and that power belongs to the people.
