Today, the Igando-Ikotun Local Council led by Executive Chairman Senior Commissioner Lasisi Ayinde Akinsanya joined management staff, councillors, supervisors, government officials and community members at Egan Primary School on Old Akesan Road for the 2026 Lagos State Tree Planting Day. Under the theme “Trees for Lagos: Our City, Our Responsibility,” participants planted seedlings to promote environmental sustainability and boost climate resilience across the LCDA. This initiative underscores the council’s dedication to creating a cleaner, greener and healthier community in Igando-Ikotun. Together, we plant today for a more sustainable tomorrow.
