FCT Minister Vows Action After Private Developer Damages Water Pipeline

FCT Minister Vows Action After Private Developer Damages Water Pipeline

The FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, has blamed the current water shortage in parts of Abuja on damage to a major pipeline by a private developer. He inspected ongoing repair efforts and said the FCT Water Board is working to restore supply as quickly as possible. Wike pledged to revisit the site to assess the full extent of the damage. The minister warned the developer could face sanctions or even a project shutdown if found responsible. He appealed to residents for patience while repairs are completed.
