Tinubu Convenes APC Governors for Late Afternoon Meeting in Abuja

President Bola Tinubu met with All Progressives Congress governors at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. Originally slated for 4 p.m. in the Council Chamber, the session was moved to the President’s office conference room and began around 5 p.m. Governors in attendance included Babagana Zulum (Borno), Hope Uzodimma (Imo), Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe), Hyacinth Alia (Benue), Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti), Peter Mbah (Enugu) and AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara), with several states represented by their deputies. No official reason has been disclosed. The meeting follows a private sit-down between President Tinubu and Senate leaders, where key national matters were reportedly addressed.
