Fubara Ally Umezuruike Dumps APC for ADC at Abuja Convention

Manuchim Umezuruike, a Rivers State member of the House of Representatives, has left the All Progressives Congress to join the African Democratic Congress. He is currently attending the ADC national convention in Abuja as his first major outing with the new party. Umezuruike was one of four lawmakers who defected to the APC in December 2025 to support Governor Sim Fubara against FCT Minister Nyesom Wike. Sources say none of the defectors may secure a return ticket due to their role in that political crisis.
