Why I Believe Your Wife’s Love Is Conditional and How to Stay in Control

If you expect unconditional love from your wife, I believe you are mistaken. Women’s love often depends on your resources. When those run out, criticism and unwanted advice may follow. I recommend focusing on self-improvement. Build your career and wealth first. You can let her manage a business back home in Africa, but avoid matching her income to yours. Equal wealth can lead to conflict and loss of respect. In my view, a wife’s role is to care for the home—cook, clean, and nurture the family—while the husband’s responsibility is to provide and protect. If she wishes to move abroad, she should fund it herself or use family assets. Share this post to help others consider these ideas. Let me know what you think in the comments.

Do you think love truly shifts when financial support wanes, or might other factors play a bigger role in a marriage?

Are you suggesting financial support is the main driver of affection, or could emotional connection outweigh money?

It strikes me that the argument assumes all marriages follow the same financial dynamics, which seems like a broad generalization.
