Wike-Backed PDP Faction Dismisses Turaki’s ADC Visit
The Nyesom Wike-led PDP group has urged members to ignore the recent meeting between the Tanimu Turaki faction and the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Jungudo Mohammed, the faction’s national publicity secretary, said the engagement was unauthorised. He stressed that participants acted in personal capacities and do not speak for the party. He added that preparations for the PDP primaries remain on track and promised that timelines and guidelines would be shared soon. Earlier, the Turaki faction held a solidarity visit with ADC leaders ahead of the 2027 elections. The meeting included former governors, party veterans and ADC officials.
