Late Heroics Seal Nasarawa United’s 2-1 Quarter-Final Win Over Plateau United

Nasarawa United booked their spot in the President Federation Cup semi-finals with a 2-1 victory over Plateau United at Bwari Sports Complex. The Solid Miners took the lead in the 44th minute when wing-back Abubakar Abdullahi nodded in John Victor’s deep throw-in. Plateau United levelled in the 85th minute, but substitute Ada Umar struck seven minutes later to secure the win. Technical adviser Mbwas Mangut praised his players’ character in bouncing back after conceding late. He now wants the team to stay focused ahead of their semi-final clash with Ikorodu City.
