ADC Faction Led by Bala Gombe Rejects Bolaji Abdullahi’s N800bn FAAC Allegation
A faction of the African Democratic Congress under Nafiu Bala Gombe has distanced itself from a statement attributed to Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi. Abdullahi claimed that over N800 billion was deducted from FAAC allocations for political activities ahead of the 2027 elections. In a release from the party’s Director of Media and Public Affairs, Christopher Okechukwu, the ADC disowned both Abdullahi and the supposed statement. The party said neither he nor his claims reflect ADC’s official views. The ADC reaffirmed its commitment to principled opposition, saying it will continue to challenge government policies based on evidence. It stressed that its electoral success will depend on the credibility of its candidates and programmes, not on unsubstantiated allegations.
