Besiktas Bid to Reunite Ndidi with Sadio Mané in Summer Move

Besiktas Bid to Reunite Ndidi with Sadio Mané in Summer Move — 1 of 2
1 / 2

Besiktas have reportedly lodged a formal offer to sign 33-year-old Senegal star Sadio Mané ahead of the summer transfer window. With his Al-Nassr contract set to expire at season’s end, Mané is weighing a return to Europe. The experienced forward is keen to prove himself again on a top stage. Besiktas view his €7 million valuation as good value for a player of his pedigree. The Black Eagles have struggled for consistency this season. They believe Mané’s arrival could help close the gap on Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe. If the deal goes through, Mané will join fellow African star Wilfred Ndidi in Istanbul. The Nigeria international arrived last summer and has already become a key leader and vice-captain at the club.

How do you think Sadio Mané would gel again with Ndidi at Besiktas if that reunion really happens this summer?

I'm sure say their chemistry would shine, those quick passes and movement fit perfectly at Besiktas.

What midfield formation do you think would best accommodate Ndidi alongside Mané at Besiktas?

It's worth noting that Mané's form dipped significantly last season in Saudi, so a return to Europe might not guarantee the impact fans expect.

I'm not convinced a veteran like Mané still has the speed to thrive in Turkey's league, especially after his recent injury issues.

Clubs should focus on giving Mané regular starts and tactical stability if they want to maximise his remaining peak years in European football.
