Aston Villa Join Premier League Hunt for Super Eagles Winger Femi Azeez
Aston Villa have reportedly added Millwall’s in-form winger Femi Azeez to their list of summer targets in a bid to bolster their wide options. The 25-year-old finished last season with 11 goals and eight assists in 34 Championship matches, earning a spot in the division’s Team of the Season. Brighton, Bournemouth and Ipswich have also been linked with the Nigerian international. Millwall value Azeez at around €20 million, while Aston Villa boss Unai Emery hopes the pacy winger can make the step up to the Premier League. Azeez marked his senior Super Eagles debut in May by scoring twice in a 2-0 win over Zimbabwe.
