Bashir Updates on El-Rufai’s Health: “Mallam is Calm and Mentally Strong”

This comes after a Federal High Court in Abuja granted him ₦100 million bail over national security allegations. Bashir said El-Rufai remained calm, witty and mentally strong during his last visit. He was surrounded by books and legal briefs but displayed a level-headed focus that surprised many. Despite this optimism, family members and lawyers remain deeply concerned about his situation. The ICPC noted that only immediate relatives, legal counsel and medical doctors are allowed to visit under a court order.
