Enugu North Senator-Elect Receives Certificate of Return, Forecasts APC Victory in 2027
On Tuesday, Enugu North Senatorial District’s Ikeje Asogwa collected his Certificate of Return from INEC. He stated his belief that the APC will sweep all 2027 elections in Enugu State. He linked this confidence to federal and state development projects under President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and Governor Peter Mbah’s Tomorrow is Here initiative. He pointed to visible achievements in infrastructure, health and education, made possible by increased federal inflows after subsidy removal. Asogwa vowed to prioritise infrastructure, education, healthcare and youth empowerment when he joins the Senate. INEC also presented Certificates of Return to winners of recent by-elections in Rivers, Nasarawa and Kano states.
