He spoke at a strategic meeting in Ikeja and stressed that misleading videos and false reports cause panic, weaken trust in security agencies and disrupt public order. Tijani warned that anyone deliberately spreading false security content will be investigated and prosecuted. He reaffirmed the command’s commitment to swift responses in protecting lives and property. He urged residents to verify information before sharing and to support police efforts by providing timely, credible intelligence.
