Burna Boy’s Record-Breaking Stadium Sell-Outs Around the World

Burna Boy’s Record-Breaking Stadium Sell-Outs Around the World — 1 of 4
1 / 4

Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known as Burna Boy, has raised the bar for African artists on tour. He became the first African to sell out Madison Square Garden in 2022 and followed up by filling Citi Field and London Stadium in 2023. That same year, he sold out two consecutive nights at La Défense Arena in Paris and packed GelreDome in the Netherlands. His I Told Them… Tour went on to become the highest-grossing tour by an African artist, pulling in over $30 million from more than 300,000 tickets sold. In 2024, his London Stadium show alone grossed over $6 million. He also made history in Canada by selling out Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, adding to his string of North American triumphs. His subsequent No Sign of Weakness Tour set new records in Oceania. Burna Boy is now the first African artist to gross over $1 million from a single concert on three continents. His achievements span five continents and underline his growing global influence.
