Coca-Cola & MedShare Deliver Two Containers of Vital Medical Equipment to Anambra
The Anambra State Hospital Administrator, Dr. Frank Ifeanaeme, has received two 40-foot containers of medical equipment donated by MedShare in partnership with Coca-Cola under the Safe Birth Initiative. This followed a pre-assessment exercise to identify critical supplies needed to reduce maternal and newborn mortality in the state. The programme focuses on strengthening public hospitals with essential devices and technical training. MedShare’s Chief Biomedical Engineer conducted intensive hands-on training for local technicians and biomedical engineers. This will ensure optimal repair and maintenance of both new and existing equipment in health facilities. The donation includes baby incubators, warmers, electric beds, oxygen concentrators, nebulizers, wheelchairs, X-ray screens and other critical supplies. Installation of the equipment will begin soon across designated hospitals in Anambra.
