Army Arrests 10 Suspected Terrorists, Frees Three Kidnap Victims in FCT and North-Central

Army Arrests 10 Suspected Terrorists, Frees Three Kidnap Victims in FCT and North-Central

Nigerian Army troops carried out coordinated operations in the Federal Capital Territory and North-Central states, arresting 10 suspected terrorists and rescuing three kidnapped victims. In Abuja’s Abaji area, soldiers from the 176 Guards Battalion intercepted two suspects on a vehicle from Asaba to Kaduna. In Benue’s Gwer West, two more suspects were detained and two motorcycles recovered during patrols under Operation WHIRL STROKE. Further south in Nasarawa’s Karshi, troops acting on intelligence arrested six individuals and seized a locally made pistol, cartridges and other items. Anti-kidnapping raids in Katsina-Ala and Konshisha Local Government Areas led to the swift rescue of three abducted victims. The Army says it remains committed to dismantling criminal networks and boosting security across the nation.
