INEC Opens PVC Collection for Osun Governorship Election

INEC Opens PVC Collection for Osun Governorship Election

INEC in Osun State has announced that Permanent Voter Cards for those who registered, transferred, replaced lost or damaged cards, or updated records during the recent Continuous Voter Registration are now available. Collection begins at the 332 Registration Areas across the state from Wednesday, 22 July to Tuesday, 28 July, and continues at all INEC Local Government offices from Wednesday, 29 July to Friday, 7 August. Each day’s collection runs from 9:00am to 3:00pm, including weekends. Voters are urged to collect their PVCs in person within the stipulated period, as cards collected earlier will also be available. PVCs remain the only valid document for accreditation and voting, and proxy collection is not permitted.

It's odd that INEC only mentions collection sites without clarifying office hours or how long the process will take

Focusing on locations first still makes sense. Details on hours might follow once arrangements settle.

It helps to verify your name spelling online first, then pick a quieter registration area to avoid long queues
