Davido Wears “Bring Them Home” Jacket to Spotlight Abducted Oyo Students at FIFA Countdown

At last night’s FIFA World Cup Countdown Concert at the Crypto.com Arena, Davido delivered an electrifying performance that drew global attention to a crisis in Nigeria. He took the stage wearing a custom jacket covered in green badges, each bearing the name of one of the 39 students and seven teachers kidnapped by terrorists in Ogbomoso, Oyo State on May 15. The back of the jacket bore the bold inscription “Bring Them Home.” Before performing, Davido called on authorities to accelerate rescue efforts. He prayed for the safe return of those still held captive and for comfort for the families of victims.

Fans in Nigeria could leverage this awareness by writing to local officials, supporting trustworthy relief groups or organizing peaceful vigils for the missing students.
