LPPC Elevates 68 Lawyers to Senior Advocate of Nigeria

The Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC) has approved 68 practitioners for the Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) rank at its 174th plenary session. Chaired by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, the committee announced the new appointees in Abuja. The SAN title recognises exceptional advocates and academics for their contributions to legal practice and scholarship. To preserve the integrity of the process, the committee barred the conferees from publishing advertisements or congratulatory messages related to their elevation. The full list features leading advocates such as Ibrahim Adamu, Jude Okafor, Achibong Umoh and others, with Prof. Nnamdi Onyeka Obiaraeri as the sole academic appointee.
